If you'd like an email response, make sure you've included your email address, and if you'd prefer a phone call, add your telephone number/s and we can talk it through.
WORKSHOPS - As last year, I am running felt workshops - fun with felt flowers, gone to seed and now also pots and pods - and also giving you the chance to try making coil fabric baskets - a great way to show off your favourite fabrics.
I don't have regular times and dates published as find these limiting - just get in touch and we can discuss what suits us both. I can teach just one person or up to five - I can otherwise come to your own venue and if you have seating/table space for more than five I am happy to teach up to 20. There is a discount obviously for more than ten, but I do charge mileage for travel.
Please email email@example.com for more information.
EVENTS- I am demonstrating and selling at a new event Story at Charterhouse School on Sunday October 14th. This is a charity event and I hope lots of you can come and support this new initiative. I shall also to be demonstrating at Festival of Crafts in Farnham Maltings in October. This event moved from mid October to the end last year, and was deemed to be a successful time to hold it, so again it will be on the weekend of October 27th and 28th. Having demonstrated basketmaking and felt there for a number of years, I am taking the plaster plaques and while it is too messy to demonstrate, I will put together some frames to show how I make these. On November 16th (evening), 17th and 18th I will be returning to Sparkle at The Landmark Arts centre in Teddington. This will be the first time I have taken the Charles Cottage Studio work with me, so it will be interesting to see the response from visitors. My wonderful willow-weaving tutor Nicki Rowling will be hosting a sale of her work in Wootton, near Dorking, on the weekend of November 24th and 25th. She has invited me to take some baskets and feltwork there, which is hugely exciting and we hope our respective devotees will enjoy seeing some new work. More details coming soon. Another new event for me this year is at the Lightbox in Woking, where their Christmas event will be held on December 1st and 2nd. I will again be showing Charles Cottage Studio designs there.
Keep an eye on this page for information about other events during the year. Meanwhile, my work will be back on sale at The Surrey Guild of Craftsmen Gallery in Milford at the end of July.
