In order to keep delivery costs to a minimum, and because of my belief in reusing anything that can be reused, I try to send items using recycled packaging. However, should you be ordering something to be sent direct to the recipient as a gift, do let me know when ordering and I will use new packaging of you prefer.
Trying to simplify postage still further, this year I am offering to post any felt or fabric order for £3.95 and any plaster cast designs for £4.95 PRICES ARE FOR second class postage and on the UK MAINLAND ONLY - PLEASE ASK FOR OVERSEAS COSTS or any other delivery methods. If you order more than one item, one/some being textile and the other/s plaster, the higher postage cost will apply.
If I am away, either because of work or holiday, I will put this information on the first page of the website. This means that you should allow two weeks for queries to be answered and orders dispatched, though I would hope to get back to you sooner.
If you are paying by Paypal, be aware that the parcel will be posted to the address given on the Paypal account unless you advise me otherwise. Please ensure you let me know if you want it sent elsewhere. Items will be despatched once Paypal has cleared the payment. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for the Paypal address, which has a different name.
UK mainland orders will be posted within 5 days of receipt of payment by second class mail. If you want your order faster, or registered, sent by special delivery or any other method, please contact me first and agree additional costs before paying.
Local orders will be delivered by hand where possible but the postage charge will still be made to cover fuel. If you wish, you can contact me to collect your order.
Orders for Europe and the rest of the world will also be posted within 5 days of receipt of payment and will be sent airmail unless you request otherwise. I will not be held responsible for any customs or import costs incurred on the goods ordered, these are to be paid by the customer. The customer is also totally responsible for checking that the products ordered are acceptable and legal for import to the country they’re ordering from.
If you request a custom order this may take a little longer than times stated above.
Late & missing deliveries I always get a proof of posting receipt for any item I send. If you do not receive your order within the specified period of time, please let me know and I will investigate the matter. However, although I take steps to ensure your order is delivered in good time, I cannot be held responsible for deliveries delayed by the postal service. If you are happy to pay for the additional costs involved, I am happy to send by recorded or registered post or you can arrange for your own courier to collect.
If your parcel is missing/lost I will replace the order subject to the timescale designated by the delivery service I use. With Royal Mail it is after the 15th day for deliveries within the UK and 24 days for European and USA deliveries. However, this is not possible with one-off items, so a comparable item or refund will be agreed.
Items on the vintage and bling page cannot be replaced, so a refund will be offered.
Undelivered parcels If your order is returned to me due to an incorrect delivery address, failed attempt for redelivery, or failure to pick up your package from the postal/courier service depot I will not be responsible for the cost of re-sending the package to you. Please make sure I have the RIGHT delivery address and/or make every attempt to collect your delivery from the depot in reasonable time. If you are going to be away shortly after ordering, please let me know and I will delay sending.
