Privacy & Data Protection
Of course we are all keen to keep our lives private. I do understand that, so I want to reassure you that should you make an enquiry or place an order, your details will not be retained in some bottomless vault on my computer UNLESS you have agreed that I should keep your email address for information about events, workshops or product sales etc.
You will not receive more than eight such notifications per year and your details will not be shared with third parties without your express knowledge and agreement.
If you sign up to receive emailed news, your information will be used only for mailing out. It will not be shared. You can unsubscribe at any time simply by writing to me and asking me to take your details off the list.
Unless you make a purchase, I have no other information on file. As it is not possible to purchase through this website, should you make a purchase you will be in direct touch with me, and then I will also have your name, postal address and possibly your phone number. I will also have details of your purchase and its value.
In these circumstances, your email address will ONLY be added to my mailing list if you make you ask me to keep you informed of offers, workshops or events I am attending. If at any time you want your email address taken off the mailing list, you just need to ask me to do so.
I do not have a postal mailing list and will keep only details of your purchase required by law (eg Inland Revenue)
At no time will I sell or pass on any customer details to any organisation unless I am required by law to do so.
Visiting my website
My website is hosted by Weebly, based in America. You may check their website for their own privacy statements.
The padlock symbol in the address bar when you visit www.flights-of-fantasy.com shows that there is a secure connection between your website and mine. This is called SSL or ‘secure sockets layer’.
I do not take payments through the website and therefore do not hold any details of your card or other payment data. To pay for purchases you have to make direct contact with me for my bank details or I can invoice you through Paypal.
Should the laws on privacy change, I will update the information above, so you should check back occasionally.
